This policy explains what information nickfarnborough.com collects, how it's used, and the choices you have. Plain language, no surprises.

Who this is

This site is operated by Nick Farnborough ("I", "me"), a fractional CMO and venture builder based in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Questions? Email nick@nickfarnborough.com.

What I collect

Information you give me. When you use the contact form or email me, I receive your name, email address, any company details, and the contents of your message.
Booking information. When you schedule a call, that booking is handled through Google Calendar, which collects the details you enter (such as name, email, and meeting time).
Usage data. Like most websites, basic technical information (such as browser type, device, and pages visited) may be logged by the hosting provider or analytics, if enabled.

How I use it

To respond to your inquiry and, if we work together, to provide services.
To schedule and manage calls and meetings.
To understand how the site is used and improve it.

I don't sell your personal information, and I don't send marketing emails unless you've asked me to.

Who else is involved

A few trusted services help run this site and may process your information on my behalf, including my email provider, my website host, Google (for calendar scheduling), and analytics if enabled. Each has its own privacy practices. Some may process data outside Canada.

Cookies

The site uses only what's needed to function, plus optional analytics cookies if enabled. You can control or block cookies through your browser settings.

How long I keep it

I keep messages and booking details for as long as needed to respond, to carry out any resulting work, and to meet legal or record-keeping requirements, then I delete them.

Your choices

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete the personal information I hold about you, or to object to certain uses. To make a request, email nick@nickfarnborough.com and I'll respond within a reasonable time.

Security

I take reasonable steps to protect your information, but no method of transmission or storage is ever completely secure.

Changes

I may update this policy from time to time. The "last updated" date above will always reflect the current version.
